My novel "Chasing AllieCat" is available in bookstores and online, and in Kindle and Nook. Three mountain-biking teens find an almost-dead body in the woods. All hell breaks loose. One reviewer said "Steig Larsson meets Judy Blume."

April 5: St. Peter Reads

January 8: Marshall, MN: Southwest Cooperative Young Writers' Conference

November 27-28: Clive, Iowa--Crestview Elementary School on Tuesday, and Indian Hills Middle School on Wednesday--talking books, stories, bikes, dogs, and all things that matter in life! Can't WAIT.

November 3: BOOKOLOGY: Children's Literature Network TEEN LITERATURE NETWORK launch, and a delightful book-talk morning.

August 15: Mapleton Public Library Storytime. 10:30--FREYA is coming! I'll be reading Woof and Wag: Bringing Home a Dog and other pet and dog books, including A Dog is a Dog by Stephen Shaskan.

July 18: Grand Rapids, MN! 1 p.m.--Public Library program/workshop for Teens; 5-6:30 p.m.--ride with cyclists at Trail Sport; 7 p.m.--Public Library, powerpoint presentation on story, brief reading and book signing. (And KAXE radio sometime that day).

June 8: New Ulm Public Library: 3 p.m. program for teens.
5:30-6:30 Adult/Everyone welcome open house at The Grand on Minnesota Street. (Public Access TV is going to be involved...stay tuned)


May 5: Stanhope, IA Community Center Library.

April 28: St. Peter Reads; YA panel with Kirstin Cronn-Mills and Geoff Herbach.

April 21: The LOFT, Minneapolis; Second Story Reading Series, with A.S. King, 2 p.m.

April 13: Mapleton Middle School

March 21: South Central College, Conf. Center B., 12-1, with Terry Davis; Girl Meets Boy: Because There are Two Sides to Every Story.

March 20: Barnes and Noble, Mankato, 7 p.m. with Terry Davis; G

January 5: Keynote speaker at the SW/WC Service Cooperative's 20th Annual Conference for Young Writers in Marshall, MN.

Saturday, December 17: Signing books at the Enchanted Forest, North Riverfront, Mankato.

Sunday, December 4: Signing Chasing AllieCat at the Village Bookstore 12-2
Central Square Mall - 201 NW 4th St #105, Grand Rapids, MN

Wednesday, Nov. 30: Mapleton Snowflake Dazzle Holiday extravaganza. Will be signing/selling books at the Mapleton Library from 5-8 p.m. Trolley rides, treats, and holiday cheer! Come one, come all!

Tuesday, Nov. 22-Wednesday Nov. 23: On the Iron Range, with Mary Schnell, visiting her book club, and the morning show on KAXE Radio, the Village Bookstore, and Itasca Trail Sports Bike/Ski shop in Grand Rapids. Fun!

Monday, Nov. 21: Visiting Reading classes at South Central College--They all read Chasing AllieCat!

Friday, Nov. 18: Sanford Middle School, Minneapolis: the entire class is doing NaNoRiMo!

Thursday, Nov. 3: Luncheon for College Bookstores, with author Kirstin Cronn-Mills, at South Central College.

Saturday, Oct. 29: Halloween Storytime at the Mapleton Public library; Becky the Witch will be there in costume at 10:30.

Saturday night, Oct. 29: It's rumored that Former Haunted Hayride creatures and characters will rise from their graves to frequent Hober's Bar and Grill near Kasota/Mankato.
Oct. 8: Josh and Emily's wedding

Friday, Oct. 28: American Association of School Librarians Annual Conference, Minneapolis Convention Center
11:15-12:15 FLUX booth signing, 1:00-215 Author showcase with Lisa Albert (Maggie Stiefvater will be there 3-4 p.m.!)

Thursday, Oct. 27: Buena Vista University, Storm Lake, Iowa all day events, class visits, and an evening reading. (Public is welcome to the reading...details to come)

Oct. 22: Dusty and Ashley's wedding

Saturday, Oct. 15: Twin Cities Book Festival, Minneapolis Community and Technical College, Minneapolis, signing at FLUX booth, 1:00-2:00

Oct. 8: Josh and Emily's wedding in Virginia

Friday, Sept. 23: Midwest Booksellers Association, The Depot, Minneapolis, signing at FLUX booth, 11:15-12:15
